Sri Lanka's Bandaranayaka International Airport authorities and Vistara Airlines have assured the safety of all passengers and crew following recent false bomb threats directed at two flights from India on October 19 and 24.
In response to the threats, security personnel conducted thorough inspections of the aircraft at Katunayake Airport, requiring the evacuation of passengers and crew for safety checks.
Both the Bandaranayaka International Airport and Vistara Airlines issued a statement expressing regret for any inconvenience caused during the security procedures.
They emphasized their commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all travelers arriving in Sri Lanka.
