Galle Police have arrested three Chinese nationals suspected of involvement in online financial fraud in Gintota, Galle. Acting on a tip-off, officers detained the suspects, aged 33 and 38, at a hotel on Bope Road yesterday (October 24).
During the arrest, police seized five mobile phones, four credit cards, and an unclaimed passport found in their possession. Authorities believe the suspects were conducting online scams while residing at the hotel.
Further investigations are underway to uncover the full extent of their activities.
