The U.S. Embassy in Colombo has urged U.S. citizens to avoid the Arugam Bay Area following credible information of a potential attack targeting popular tourist spots.
Due to the serious threat, the Embassy has imposed a travel restriction for its personnel to Arugam Bay, effective immediately and until further notice.
