Approximately 35 employees from a garment factory in the 11th phase of the Katunayake Free Trade Zone were hospitalized today after experiencing severe vomiting and diarrhea following their breakfast.
The affected workers were admitted to Negombo General Hospital for medical treatment. Authorities are currently investigating the incident, with the Katunayake Police and local health officials examining potential causes of the illness.
