October 17, 2024, has been set as a special day for distributing official polling cards for the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election, according to Deputy Postmaster General Rajitha Ranasinghe.
Despite today being a public holiday, postal workers in the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha area will be on duty to ensure timely delivery. Ranasinghe also confirmed that secured postal ballot packets have been sent to certifying officers, with the used packets being collected and forwarded to Galle's District Returning Officers.
