Traffic on Hatton-Colombo main road has been disrupted due to the accident of a container truck transporting cement.
The accident involved a container truck carrying 57 metric tons of cement from Colombo to Nuwara Eliya.
It is at Ginigathhena hospital intersection.
The police have taken steps to divert the buses that ran to Colombo to alternative routes.
The Ginigathhena Police and the local residents have been able to facilitate the traffic after recovering the container car with the help of a crane.
