Train services on Sri Lanka's coastal line are experiencing significant delays due to two incidents.
A fire broke out in the engine of a train near Kalutara, which was traveling to Maradana.
Additionally, a derailment of the Meenagaya Intercity Express Train occurred this morning between Colombo Fort and Maradana, further disrupting services.
As a result, both the main line and coastal line are affected. Sri Lanka Railways is working to resolve the issues.
