The flood warning for the Kelani River basin remains active. The Disaster Management Center urges residents in this area and those near the Attanagalu Oya basin—specifically in low-lying regions of Divulapitiya, Mirigama, Attanagalle, Mahara, Gampaha, Minuwangoda, Ja-ela, Katana, and Wattala—to remain vigilant due to heavy rainfall.
Additionally, people around the Uruwal Oya valley, as well as the Kalu and Ging river catchment areas, should heed the wwarning.
