The Parliamentary Communications Department has announced that applications are now open for the position of Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
According to the provisions of the Anti-Corruption Act No. 9 of 2023 (as amended), Qualified persons should prepare the relevant applications in accordance with the format published on the Parliament website (www.parliament.lk), falling under the quick links titled “Appointment of the Director General to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.”
The completed applications must be submitted by registered post referred to the Secretary General of the Constitutional Council at the Constitutional Council-Office, Parliament of Sri Lanka, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, or via email to [email protected] no later than October 28, 2024.
As per the Parliamentary Communications Department, the newspaper advertisement for this purpose has been published in the national newspapers on the 13, and 14 October,
The position became vacant following the resignation of the former Director General, Kanishka Wijeratne.
