The Ministry of Finance has announced the commencement of imports of public transport vehicles, including buses, starting from this month. This initiative aims to enhance the country's public transportation infrastructure.
In addition to public transport vehicles, the Ministry has revealed plans to import light vehicles, including cars, in the first quarter of next year. The vehicle import process will be executed in three phases, ensuring a structured approach to meet the growing demand for vehicles in Sri Lanka.
