The police stressed that OTPs, provided by banks for secure transactions, should remain confidential and must not be disclosed under any circumstances.
This advisory follows a wave of recent reports about financial fraud, where individuals were deceived into sharing their OTPs, leading to unauthorized transactions. The police urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately to their banks.
