Northern Province Governor P.A.M. Charles has resigned from the post of governor.
The Governor's Media Unit announced that she has resigned from the post of Northern Governor after the swearing in of the new President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
She has forwarded her resignation letter to the new President Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
Meanwhile the Governor of the Uva Province Anura Vidanagamage has tendered his resignation from his position
Also, the Central Province Governor Lalith Gamage and Governor of the North Western Province Naseer Ahamed have tendered their resignations from their positions
