The Senior Citizens Conference organized by Samagi Jana Sandhanaya was successfully conducted in Colombo on September 11th, with the aim of understanding the challenges faced by senior citizens and safeguarding their rights.
The event saw a significant turnout, with representatives from nearly 14,000 senior citizens' associations across the island in attendance. The conference was presided over by Sajith Premadasa, the Leader of the Opposition.
