The Election Commission has reported that it received 3,223 complaints related to the upcoming presidential election.
The majority of these complaints, 3,128 pertain to violations of election rules.
The Commission has received 25 complaints concerning acts of violence.
The Presidential Election candidates, supporters and the party leaders have a responsibility equal to, if not greater than, that of the citizens in preventing post-election violence.
