Former Chairman of the UNP and the Grandson of prime minister D.S. Senanayake Rukman Senanayake, passed away at the age of 76.
He re-entered Parliament in 1994, and won a Parliamentary seat in 2004 election, representing the Kegalle district.
Rukman Senanayake served as the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources from 2002 to 2004.
