Alaric Lionel Fernando, a veteran film producer and director who dedicated his life to Sri Lankan cinema for more than four decades, has passed away.He was 82 years old when he passed away.
He entered the cinema industry in 1978 by producing the movie 'Anupama' and produced 'Christ Character', 'Kiri Suvada', 'Ran Damvel', 'Mavila Penevi Rupe', 'Dalulana Gini', 'Senehasa Peva', 'Adarna Pujasanaye' and 'Sanda Taraka' and directed 'Adarna Pujasanaye' and 'Sanda Taraka.' Films
