The Sri Lanka Navy seized a multi-day fishing vessel suspected of transporting heroin during a deep-sea operation approximately 400 nautical miles (740 km) south of Sri Lanka.
The vessel, brought to Galle port this evening, is believed to be carrying 150 kilograms of heroin.
The Navy is currently inspecting the vessel.
