In a significant breakthrough, the Police Special Task Force (STF) has apprehended three principal associates of notorious drug trafficker 'Loku Patty' in a targeted operation at Kahatuduwa.
The operation, conducted by STF intelligence officers on the evening of June 9th, resulted in the seizure of approximately 13 kilograms of heroin valued at Rs. 30 million, along with two pistols and two vehicles outfitted with counterfeit license plates.
The suspects were captured at a residence in Kebellagahawatte, Kahathuduwa, marking a crucial advancement in the pursuit of 'Loku Patty', also known as 'Ahungalle Loku Patty', who remains at large, reportedly in Dubai. The successful raid underscores law enforcement's unwavering commitment to dismantling organized crime networks and curbing drug trafficking activities.
