A 25-year-old man was arrested with 60 kg of cannabis, which has a street value of over Rs. 10 million, in Jaffna.
The suspect was apprehended based on information provided by the Military Intelligence Corps of the Sri Lanka Army during a joint operation conducted by the Special Task Force and Yakkaru Police in the Vallipuram coastal area, Point Pedro, Jaffna.
The Yakkaru Police Special Task Force is continuing further investigations.
