The Southern Province Secretary of Education has declared that educational institutions across the Galle and Matara districts are set to resume academic operations starting tomorrow (06).
In a statement released today, the secretary emphasized that this decision comes after careful consideration of the prevailing circumstances. Notably, Zonal Education Directors have been vested with the responsibility to assess and determine the reopening of schools affected by recent floods.
This includes evaluating schools currently utilized as shelters for displaced individuals.
