A person was fatally stabbed with a sharp weapon following an argument stemming from a previous dispute.
Police said that the incident occurred in the Henyaya area of the Madampe police division.
The victim, a 57-year-old resident of Sembukattiya, Henyaya, succumbed to the injuries.
The 36-year-old suspect surrendered himself to the police station and has been arrested.
Madampe Police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
