The Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry announced that legal action will be taken against 981 establishments where mosquito breeding places were detected during the National Mosquito Control Week from May 26 to June 01. 

Special teams inspected 93,874 premises over the past seven days and found 4,890 places with mosquito larvae. Additionally, 25,372 houses were identified as potential mosquito breeding sites. 

Notices have been issued for 3,121 premises. 

As of June 03, a total of 25,095 dengue cases have been reported island-wide.
