All schools in the Galle and Matara districts will be closed on Tuesday, June 4, and Wednesday, June 5, due to the ongoing adverse weather conditions, announced Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena, Governor of the Southern Province.
This decision was conveyed during a press conference held in Colombo to address the current disaster situation affecting various parts of the island. Governor Abeywardena stated that the closure was decided after thorough discussions with the Education Ministry.
