The driver who drove a private bus along the Kelani Valley railway track in Puwakpitiya has been arrested in Embilipitiya, police said.
His arrest followed a video circulating on social media showing the bus, which operates between Embilipitiya and Colombo, being driven on the railway track to avoid road traffic congestion.
The bus has also been taken into police custody.
