Veteran musician Shelton Premaratne, who contributed hundreds of melodious songs to the music industry, has passed away today.Dr. Premaratne was aged 94 at the time of his passing. Dr Shelton Premaratne was a legendary Sri Lankan composer, instrumentalist and music director
He resided with his sons in Sydney, Australia.
Mr Premaratne’s funeral arrangements will be announced later.
