A total of 460 complaints have been lodged so far regarding the trafficking of retired Sri Lanka veterans for the Russia-Ukraine war.

On the 9th, the Ministry of Defense established a special unit to provide information regarding this human trafficking racket.

Any information regarding this can be provided to the Ministry of Defense through the hotline 0112 441 146.

The Defense Secretary requested family members of the concerned personnel to reveal the person and institution behind the coordination of this trafficking racket to the relevant hotline.
