Tragedy struck at the Pintaliya railway crossing in Boossa when a train collided with a motorcycle, resulting in the deaths of three young individuals, according to police.
The accident occurred when the motorcycle carrying the three youths collided with a train bound for Matara from Maradana.
The victims have been identified as teenagers aged between 17 and 19 years old.
Further investigations are underway.
