Commodore Ravi Gunasinghe assumed duties as Acting Director General Civil Engineering of the Sri Lanka Navy at the Navy Headquarters

Before assuming duties of the new appointment, he was discharging duties as Director Naval Civil Engineering. Rear Admiral Hiran Balasooriya who previously held the appointment of Director General Civil Engineering, handed over duties and responsibilities of the appointment to his successor.
