Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Ali Sabry and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment Khalid Al Falih have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Investment Promotion between the two nations.

This significant agreement, hailed as a long-awaited necessity, is poised to bolster investment opportunities in both countries, as stated by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Riyadh.

In addition to the MoU signing, Foreign Minister Sabry engaged in fruitful discussions with Faisal Alibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Their talks centered on augmenting economic cooperation, with a focus on promptly finalizing a roadmap for expanded economic collaboration.

The meeting also delved into pertinent regional and international matters of mutual concern, according to the statement released.
