Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe was appointed as the Acting Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) by the Maithripala Sirisena faction.
The appointment was made during an executive committee meeting held at a hotel in Kotte with the participation of former President Maithripala Sirisena.
