The US Dollar continues to trade below the Rs. 300 mark at several commercial banks in Sri Lanka today, marking a decrease compared to previous rates. 

Commercial Bank, NDB Bank, and Peoples Bank have all reported drops in both buying and selling rates for the US Dollar, while Sampath Bank's rates remain within the Rs. 300 range.

Today, on March 15, 2024, the US Dollar continues to maintain a position below the Rs. 300 mark at various commercial banks across Sri Lanka. 

This trend signifies a decline compared to previous exchange rates observed in the country's foreign currency market.

At Commercial Bank, one of the leading banks in Sri Lanka, the buying rate for the US Dollar has decreased from Rs. 299.91 to Rs. 299.17, while the selling rate has dropped from Rs. 309.25 to Rs. 308.50. 

Similarly, NDB Bank has also witnessed a reduction in both buying and selling rates, with the buying rate decreasing from Rs. 298.75 to Rs. 298.20, and the selling rate declining from Rs. 309.75 to Rs. 309.20.

Peoples Bank, another prominent financial institution in Sri Lanka, has reported a decrease in the buying rate of the US Dollar from Rs. 300.08 to Rs. 299.84, along with a drop in the selling rate from Rs. 310.54 to Rs. 310.29. 

However, at Sampath Bank, the US Dollar continues to hover within the Rs. 300 range, with the buying rate reducing slightly from Rs. 301 to Rs. 300.50, and the selling rate dropping from Rs. 310 to Rs. 309.50.

Despite fluctuations in exchange rates, the US Dollar's sustained position below Rs. 300 at multiple commercial banks reflects ongoing dynamics in the foreign exchange market.
