Deputy Director of the Medical Supplies Division Dr. Thusitha Sudarshana has been arrested by the Crimial Investigation Department (CID) in connection with the import of substandard human Immunoglobulin injections.
Police Spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa told Zira Daily that the Dr. Sudarshana has been arrested by the CID after recording a statement.
He reportedly arrived in Sri Lanka today and summoned to record a statement over the incident.
He will be produced in court.
