The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) has disclosed revisions to fuel prices set to take effect from midnight today, January 31.
The adjustments reveal a mixed bag of changes, as the price of Petrol Octane 92 is set to increase by Rs. 05, reaching Rs. 371 per litre, while Petrol Octane 95 is marked for a reduction of Rs. 08, settling at Rs. 456 per litre.
Auto Diesel consumers will experience a Rs. 05 hike, resulting in a new price of Rs. 363 per litre, while Super Diesel sees a Rs. 07 reduction, bringing it down to Rs. 468.
Kerosene users will face a notable increase, with prices soaring by Rs. 26 to reach Rs. 262 per litre.
The revised fuel prices are as follows:
- Petrol Octane 92: Rs. 371
- Petrol Octane 95: Rs. 456
- Auto Diesel: Rs. 363
- Super Diesel: Rs. 468
- Kerosene: Rs. 262
In a parallel move, Lanka IOC has also decided to align its fuel prices with the newly revised Ceypetco rates, signaling an across-the-board adjustment for consumers.
