Two more suspects have been arrested by the Police Special Task Force in the Wanchawala area of Galle in connection with the shooting incident in Beliatta that claimed the lives of five individuals, including Saman Perera, the leader of the Ape Jan Bala Party.
The arrested suspects, aged 25 and 35 and identified as Galle residents, were found in possession of heroin at the time of their arrest.
Along with the narcotics, authorities confiscated 09 grams and 300 milligrams of heroin, a motorcycle, 03 mobile phones, and a knife.
The arrested individuals have been handed over to the Galle Harbor Police Station for further investigation.
