There will be mainly rainless weather conditions in the sea areas around the island.

Winds are blowing from the north-east direction and the wind speed is 10 km/h. ( 20-30) around.

From Colombo to Mannar via Puttalam and from Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota, the wind speed in the sea areas off the coast is 100 km /h at times. (40-50) may increase.

Nature of the Sea :
The seas offshore from Colombo to Mannar via Puttalam and from Galle via Hambantota to Pottuvil can be quite rough at times .
