The National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a temporary suspension of water supply for specific areas in Colombo on January 13, affecting several neighborhoods.
The water cut, scheduled for essential maintenance work under the Ambatale Water Supply System Improvements and Energy Saving Project, will last for a duration of 16 hours.
Starting from 5:00 p.m. on January 13, the water supply will be temporarily halted until 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 14. The affected areas include Colombo 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.
The NWSDB encourages residents and businesses in the aforementioned localities to make necessary arrangements for water usage during the scheduled maintenance period.
