The National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced a temporary suspension of vehicular movement along a segment of the Low-Level Road this upcoming weekend.
The affected stretch, spanning from Wellampitiya to Kotikawatta, will be off-limits to traffic from 10:00 p.m. on tomorrow, January 6, until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7.
The NWSDB clarified that this closure is imperative due to essential maintenance work on the water supply line. Local authorities are urging commuters and residents in the vicinity to plan alternative routes and adjust travel schedules accordingly during this period.
