In a swift response to a distressing incident, Health Minister Dr. Ramesh Pathirana urgently calls for a detailed report from the Director of Colombo National Hospital following the tragic death of a patient, Nuala Thevathasan, raising concerns about potential medical negligence.

The incident unfolded when the 58-year-old woman, residing in Nugegoda, underwent breast surgery in Operating Room B of Ward No. 6A.
