Strengthening long-standing religious connectivity between the Myanmar and Sri Lanka , Myanmar Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing presented marble replicas of Maravijaya Buddha Statue, to be handed over to the President Ranil Wickramasinghe and the Sri Lanka Government.
These replicas were officially handed over to the Sri Lanka’s Ambassador in Myanmar at the Embassy by a special envoy of the Myanmar Prime Minister.
Ambassador Janaka Bandara and the other officials of the Embassy received the replicas with utmost respect and paid homage offering ‘Buddha Pooja’.
