The Sri Lanka Navy has taken control of a local multi-day fishing vessel suspected of transporting a consignment of narcotics during a special operation conducted in deep sea waters south of Sri Lanka.
The Navy stated that the vessel and the suspects on board are currently being brought ashore for further investigations and legal proceedings.
