The monk staging a satyagraha at Viharamahadevi Park has reportedly decided to end the protest following a request from the Maha Nayaka Theras of the three Buddhist Nikayas.
Meanwhile, police sources say arrangements are being made to inform the court tomorrow (26) that the monk has failed to comply with the court order directing him to vacate Viharamahadevi Park.
Police are expected to report the matter to the court in connection with the monk’s alleged non-compliance with the order.
