Dhanosh Theekshana Weerasekara of Ahetuwewa Adarsha Primary School in Kurunegala has secured the highest marks in the Sinhala medium at this year’s Grade 5 Scholarship Examination.
He obtained an overall score of 193 marks, according to the examination results.
The Commissioner General of Examinations has officially confirmed Dhanosh as the student who secured the highest marks in the Sinhala medium based on the results sheet of the 2026 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination.
Meanwhile, a student from the Jaffna area has secured the highest score in the Tamil medium, obtaining 188 marks, the Commissioner General of Examinations said.
