Three vehicles collided on the Southern Expressway in the Colombo-bound lane from Matara this morning (11), resulting in injuries to two people.
The accident occurred near the 115-kilometre marker, between the Kokmaduwa and Imaduwa sections of the expressway.
One of the vehicles involved in the collision overturned following the impact.
Two people were reportedly injured in the accident. Further details regarding the circumstances of the collision and the condition of those injured were not immediately available.
