The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has announced that fuel prices will remain unchanged for the month of August 2026.

The announcement was made by CPC Chairman J. D. Rajakaruna during a special press conference held on Friday (July 31).

According to the CPC, the current fuel prices will continue to be in effect throughout August, with no revisions made under the monthly fuel price formula.

The fuel prices are as follows:

Auto Diesel – Rs. 382 per litre

Super Diesel – Rs. 478 per litre

Petrol 92 Octane – Rs. 414 per litre

Petrol 95 Octane – Rs. 495 per litre

Kerosene – Rs. 285 per litre

The decision means motorists and other fuel consumers will continue to pay the existing rates during the month of August, providing price stability amid the regular monthly fuel price review process.
