An Indian national has been arrested at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake with a consignment of narcotics valued at Rs. 456 million.
According to Sri Lanka Customs, the drugs seized from the suspect included 5 kilograms of cocaine and 13 kilograms of narcotic pills, comprising approximately 23,000 tablets.
The suspect was taken into custody following the detection of the narcotics, and further investigations are expected to be conducted.
