The Gaza Board of Peace says Hamas has agreed to a roadmap that would see it disarm in phases that would be matched by Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.
A member of the Hamas delegation has told Al Jazeera that implementation would be conditioned on Israel implementing its part of the deal, including the withdrawal of its forces from Gaza. Hamas also said it will not act until Israel approves a disarmament agreement.
Egypt will host a summit with mediators the US, Qatar, and Turkiye to ensure compliance with the second phase of the Gaza roadmap.
At least 11 Palestinians have been injured by Israeli forces and settlers in Nablus and nearby villages, with attacks also reported near Hebron and Ramallah.
