The Department of Labour has announced that all public services related to the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) Database and Digital EPF system will be temporarily unavailable on July 30 and 31, 2026, due to essential maintenance work on its computer system.

Commissioner General of Labour H.M.D.N.K. Wataliyadda said the temporary suspension will affect services at the Department's head office as well as all zonal, district, and sub-district labour offices across the country.

During the two-day maintenance period, key services including EPF benefit payments, registrations, and other EPF-related public services will not be available.

The Department further stated that individuals who had already scheduled appointments for July 30 or 31 may visit the relevant labour office on any working day within one month from their original appointment date to obtain the required services.

The Labour Department apologized for the inconvenience caused and requested the public to make alternative arrangements in advance.
