According to police, two gunmen traveling on a motorcycle opened fire at two individuals who were also riding a motorcycle in the area.
One of the victims sustained injuries in the shooting and was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital for treatment.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the attack.
