Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa is scheduled to hold a special meeting with leaders of opposition political parties today (July 23) to discuss the next course of action aimed at compelling the government to address the ongoing challenges facing Sri Lanka's judicial sector.

The meeting is set to take place at the Office of the Opposition Leader at 4:30 p.m. today.

Former Presidents Ranil Wickremesinghe and Maithripala Sirisena, as well as former Prime Ministers, have been invited to attend the discussion. The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has also reportedly been invited to participate.

The discussion is expected to focus on building a united opposition response to the issues affecting the judiciary and identifying collective measures to press the government for reforms.
