Two schoolboys lost their lives after falling into a waterfall in the Panwila area of Teldeniya on Tuesday, police said.
The victims have been identified as two boys aged 13 and 15.
According to police, the incident occurred after school hours when a group of five students visited the waterfall.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the two boys fell into the waterfall while attempting to take a photograph.
The bodies were later recovered, and further investigations into the incident are being conducted by the police.
